  This is not simply a good place for ice cream, it's an institution. There's an excellent range of lovely ice creams. A cone to take away for the beach is a joy but you could try eating in too. The sundaes can be big, so make sure you're hungry but, if you just want a cup of tea, then that's fine too. It's family friendly, has views over the sea and, if you're really lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a dolphin or two. You can't really beat that on a day by the sea.
